He became the Director of the Counseling Center of New
Smyrna Beach in 2008.
His approach to counseling is eclectic in nature, but he
draws strongly from cognitive behavioral and supportive therapy techniques.
He specializes in the treatment of abuse and trauma, depression,
anxiety, anger, addiction, codependency, separation, divorce and relationship
issues.
Shane will work with you to realize your goals and fullest
potential. If you plan to see Shane don’t expect to lie back on the couch
(although he has one) and just talk about your problems. Expect wisdom,
insight, solutions and feedback to help you work through and overcome your life
challenges. Expect that not only will the problem be solved, but that with
enough work, your life will be better than you ever imagined it could be.
